Board Director

Mr. Horatio Reid is a construction and operations professional with extensive experience in project management, logistics, and infrastructure operations. He currently serves as Project Estimator and Project Manager at JVN Restoration Inc., where he oversees project planning, cost estimation, and operational coordination for construction and restoration projects.

In addition to his project management responsibilities, Mr. Reid also serves as Fleet Manager, supervising operational logistics, equipment coordination, and resource management to support efficient project execution. Over the course of his career, he has developed strong expertise in operations management, construction safety, and team leadership.

Mr. Reid holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Engineering Science (Mechanical Concentration) from the City University of New York – College of Staten Island, and also completed studies in Accounting (CPA Track) at the same institution. While at the College of Staten Island, he was a member of the Phi Beta Delta International Honors Society and the Men’s Soccer Team.

He holds several professional certifications including OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety, Advanced Commands in Linux, and Basic Construction Project Management, reflecting his commitment to technical knowledge and professional development.

As a member of the Board of Directors of First Central Economic Development Inc. (FCEDI), Mr. Reid contributes his experience in operations, project management, and strategic planning to support initiatives that promote economic development and community advancement on Staten Island’s North Shore.
