Board Director

Mr. Jacinth Thomas serves as a Vice President with MTA Bridges & Tunnels, where he provides executive leadership in transportation operations, facility management, and public safety coordination across critical bridge infrastructure in the New York metropolitan region.

In this role, Mr. Thomas oversees operational readiness, incident response coordination, and facility management for major crossings that support millions of commuters and commercial vehicles each year. He leads multidisciplinary teams responsible for maintaining safe and efficient operations while working closely with engineering, maintenance, and law enforcement partners.

Mr. Thomas has extensive experience coordinating complex operational initiatives, infrastructure maintenance activities, and multi-agency planning for large-scale regional events and emergency operations.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the College of Staten Island, bringing a strong foundation in financial oversight and operational performance management to his leadership and governance responsibilities.

As a member of the Board of Directors of First Central Economic Development Inc. (FCEDI), Mr. Thomas contributes his expertise in operations management and public infrastructure to support initiatives that strengthen economic development and community well-being.
